Udenu Council Endorses Enugu Governor Mbah for Second Term

The Udenu Local Government Council in Enugu State has endorsed Governor Peter Mbah for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 elections.

The endorsement was announced by the council chairman, Aka Eze Aka, in a statement ahead of a reception scheduled for 2 May 2026 at the Nsukka Township Stadium in Enugu North Senatorial Zone.

The council said its decision reflected the views of stakeholders and residents who support the continuation of the governor’s administration.

It praised Mr Mbah’s leadership, saying his policies had “rekindled hope” and driven development across the state.

The council added that sustaining his administration would help consolidate ongoing projects and further development in Enugu State.
