Soludo appoints MDs for three Anambra agencies

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has approved the appointment of Managing Directors for three key government agencies in the state, in a move aimed at strengthening institutional performance and service delivery.

The appointments, announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime, affect the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ASICTA), and the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).

Those appointed are Mr Emeka Okonkwo (Konti) as Managing Director of ARTMA, Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata as Managing Director of ASICTA, and Mr Osita Ossy Onuko as Managing Director of ACTDA.

According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect.

It added that the new Managing Directors are expected to bring renewed vigour, professionalism, and commitment to their respective agencies in line with the administration’s drive for efficiency, innovation, and urban development across the state.

The statement further noted that the appointments form part of ongoing efforts by the Soludo administration to reposition key institutions for improved governance and service delivery.
