The Member of Parliament for Pru East has held high-level discussions with the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor, on addressing persistent energy challenges affecting communities in the Bono East Region.

The meeting, which was also attended by the Bono East Regional Representative on the Council of State and Paramount Chief of the Yeji Traditional Area, Pimampim Yaw Kagbrese V, focused on identifying practical and sustainable solutions to improve electricity access and reliability across the region, with particular attention to the Pru East Constituency.

During the engagement, the parties discussed key concerns relating to power supply and the need for long-term investments in energy infrastructure to support economic growth and improve the quality of life for residents.

The MP emphasized the importance of ensuring that communities in Pru East have access to stable and dependable electricity, noting that reliable power remains essential for education, healthcare delivery, business development, and overall socio-economic progress.
