The Member of Parliament for Salaga North Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Mumuni, has sought clarification from the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs on the status of the District Assembly office complex project in the constituency.
Hon. Mumuni raised the issue during parliamentary proceedings, requesting an update on measures being taken by the ministry to facilitate the completion of the project.
According to the lawmaker, the completion of the office complex is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and improve service delivery within the district.
Responding, the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, outlined the ministry's position on the project, including ongoing efforts and plans aimed at addressing challenges affecting its completion.
The office complex forms part of broader efforts to strengthen local governance structures and improve the delivery of government services at the district level.
