ENUGU: Police set dates for recruitment examination

The Enugu State Police Command has announced that the written examination for applicants in the ongoing Police Constable Recruitment will hold from April 28 to 30, 2026.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, said the exercise is being conducted by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force for candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening stage.

He said the examination, covering both General Duty and Specialist applicants, will take place at the Police Detective College, Agbani Road, Enugu, for candidates from the state.

According to him, shortlisted applicants are to visit the official recruitment portal to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains their specific date and time. He added that candidates who previously printed slips indicating April 27 should reprint to reflect the updated schedule.

The command advised applicants to come to the venue with a pen, their National Identification Number slip with a clear photograph, and the printed invitation card. Candidates are also required to appear in white shorts, T-shirt and canvas shoes.

Ndukwe reiterated that the recruitment process is free, warning applicants against dealing with fraudsters or paying any form of inducement, noting that offenders would be prosecuted.
