JAMB releases results for 1.8 million UTME candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released additional results for candidates who sat the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday and Saturday.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja and signed by its Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the board said a total of 1,897,692 results have now been released since the examination began on 16 April.

According to JAMB, 632,752 results had earlier been released for candidates who took the exam on Thursday, 16 April. The latest batch comprises 1,264,940 results from examinations conducted on Friday, 17 April, and Saturday, 18 April.

The board advised candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.
