Police recruitment exam to hold April 28–30

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has fixed April 28 to 30, 2026, for the written examination of applicants seeking enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as constables.

In a statement issued by the Head of Protocol and Public Affairs, PSC, Torty Njoku Kalu, on Thursday in Abuja, the commission said the exercise would be conducted at designated centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

It explained that only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening would be eligible to participate, urging qualified applicants to log on to the official recruitment portal from April 24 to print their examination invitation cards, which would indicate the date, time and venue of the test.

The commission advised candidates to come along with a pen, their National Identification Number (NIN) slip with a clear photograph, and the printed invitation card, adding that the approved dress code is white T-shirt, white shorts and white canvas.

The PSC reiterated that the recruitment process is free, warning that any form of job racketeering, scam or financial inducement would be met with the full weight of the law.
