Kukoyi also expressed appreciation to the Visitor to the University, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, for their sustained efforts toward revitalising Nigeria’s education sector, particularly in advancing research, funding, and institutional development across tertiary institutions.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, Attah commended the Governing Council, Vice-Chancellor, and members of the selection panel for what he described as a transparent and merit-driven process.
He noted that the exercise reflected a rare commitment to professionalism, fairness, and competence, devoid of sectional or parochial considerations.
