15-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing in Umuahia

A 15-year-old girl, identified as Chioma Marvellous Igwebuike Offor, has been reported missing in Abia State, according to her family.

Chioma, who recently gained admission into Abia State University, was last seen on 27 May after leaving her family's residence at Timber Housing Estate in Umuahia around 10:30am.

Family members said she had gone to her hair-braiding apprenticeship within the estate before asking for permission to return home briefly to use the bathroom, a routine they said she had followed previously.

According to relatives, Chioma never returned to either her home or the training centre after leaving.

A family member told The Sun:

"She told her Madam she was going home to ease herself as the place is close to the house and she never returned to the house nor the shop."

The family said Chioma was wearing a dark blue chinos trouser, an ash-and-black vest polo top and a white round-neck shirt when she disappeared.

A missing person report has been filed with the Central Police Station in Umuahia.

Appealing to the public for assistance, the family said:

"Please, if you have seen her or have any information at all, no matter how little it may seem, kindly reach out immediately. One message, one call, or one share could help bring her back home safely."

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear, and there has been no official statement from police on the case at the time of reporting.
