Dickson, Obi, Kwankwaso Arrive at NDC Special Convention for 2027 Presidential Adoption

The National leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), led by Senator Seriake Dickson, has arrived at the party’s special convention in Abuja to adopt its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.

Also in attendance were key political figures including former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Other prominent attendees included former Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, alongside several other party chieftains and delegates participating in the convention.

The event is expected to determine the party’s official presidential flag bearer ahead of the 2027 general elections, with discussions and consultations ongoing among stakeholders.
