Celebrity Boxing: Portable Roasted Online After Defeat to Carter Efe

Several Nigerian entertainers have reacted on social media after street-pop artiste Portable lost a celebrity boxing match to content creator Carter Efe in Lagos.

The highly publicised bout, held on Friday night, followed weeks of online exchanges, challenges and heated social media banter between both personalities. Carter Efe was eventually declared winner after the contest concluded in his favour.

Following the result, several celebrities took to social media to react, with many posting humorous comments and videos that appeared to mock Portable’s defeat. Among them were Zlatan Ibile, Ubi Franklin, comedian Cute Abiola, and music video director TG Omori.

TG Omori shared a short clip from the fight on X, making light of Portable’s movements during the bout, while Zlatan also joked about the outcome and referenced the prize money attached to the event. Ubi Franklin reacted with laughing emojis, adding to the online humour, while Cute Abiola posted a comedy skit depicting Portable angrily questioning his spiritual adviser over the loss.

The reactions quickly gained traction across social media platforms, further amplifying discussions around celebrity boxing events in Nigeria and the growing culture of entertainment-driven rivalries.
