Gov. Soludo Presents Vehicles to Judges

AWKA, Nigeria — The Anambra State Government has presented brand-new Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to ten judges as part of efforts to strengthen the judiciary and improve the administration of justice in the state.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Light House, Awka, where the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, represented Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Nnake said the donation underscores the Soludo administration's commitment to providing the judiciary with the resources required to discharge its constitutional responsibilities effectively.

"This gesture is part of the government's unwavering commitment to fostering a seamless working environment for the judiciary. Providing the necessary logistics for judicial officers is vital to the effective administration of justice and the promotion of the rule of law in Anambra State," she said.

The SSG reaffirmed the administration's commitment to the Solution Agenda, noting that strengthening all arms of government remains critical to delivering quality service to the people of the state.

"The Soludo administration remains dedicated to supporting the judiciary in its pursuit of timely and equitable justice delivery while ensuring that every arm of government is empowered to perform its constitutional responsibilities effectively."

She added that the state government would continue to invest in institutions and critical infrastructure as part of its broader vision of building a prosperous, secure and liveable smart megacity for Ndi Anambra.
