₦100m Form as APC Unveils 2027 Presidential Primary Timetable

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable for the 2027 general elections, with its presidential primary scheduled for 15–16 May 2026.

According to the schedule, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will run from 25 April to 2 May at the party’s national secretariat. Submission of completed forms is set to close on 4 May.

The APC has fixed the cost of its presidential form at ₦100 million, comprising ₦30 million for the expression of interest and ₦70 million for the nomination form. Governorship aspirants are to pay ₦50 million, while forms for the Senate, House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly are priced at ₦20 million, ₦10 million and ₦6 million respectively.

Screening of aspirants is expected to take place between 6 and 8 May, with results due on 11 May. Appeals will follow from 12 to 13 May.

Primaries for other positions are scheduled shortly after the presidential contest. The House of Representatives primaries will hold on 18 May, the Senate on 20 May, State Houses of Assembly on 21 May, and governorship primaries on 23 May. All election-related appeals are to be concluded by 25 May.

The timetable indicates that all primary elections will be conducted within an eight-day period.

The party also announced concessions for female aspirants, young people and persons living with disabilities, who will pay only for the expression of interest forms and 50% of the nomination fees.

The APC said the timetable complies with the provisions of the Constitution, the Electoral Act and guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
