E-Money pledges N50m to Carter Efe after victory over Portable

Nigerian socialite Emeka Okonkwo has pledged N50m to comedian and online streamer Carter Efe following his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match in Lagos.

Carter Efe was declared winner after all three judges scored the bout 30–27 in his favour at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event held at Balmoral Hall, Victoria Island, in the commercial hub.

The result ended Portable’s reign as celebrity boxing champion.

Speaking after the fight, E-Money reaffirmed his earlier promise of a cash reward, saying: “We put our money where our mouth is… N50 million for you.”

Organisers said the event delivered on expectations, describing the contest as entertaining for fans.

In other bouts on the night, Nigeria’s Godday Appah secured the WBO Africa cruiserweight title with a split decision victory over Ezra Arenyeka.

Meanwhile, Basit Adebayo claimed another WBO Africa title after defeating former champion Loren Japhet by unanimous decision.
