HB Braimah Education Foundation Disburses GHS 46,554.24 to Support Tertiary Students in Salaga South

The HB Braimah Education Foundation LBG, established by the Member of Parliament for Salaga-South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, in honour of Kibachewura H.B. Braimah, the first Member of Parliament for the Salaga Constituency in the Fourth Republic, has disbursed a total of GHS 46,554.24 under the second phase of its educational support programme.

The financial assistance was provided to nine (9) tertiary students from across the constituency to cover their academic user fees. The beneficiaries are pursuing diploma, undergraduate, and master's degree programmes in various tertiary institutions across Ghana.

This intervention forms part of the Foundation’s commitment to easing the financial burden on students and ensuring that deserving young people are able to pursue their academic and professional goals without interruption.

The beneficiaries are enrolled in the following institutions: Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),

University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS), Savannah College of Education, Entrance University College of Health Sciences, Kumasi Technical University, Tamale Technical University,

Ghana Armed Forces College of Nursing and Midwifery.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to education and youth development in the Salaga-South Constituency. She emphasized that education remains a central pillar of her leadership agenda and pledged to sustain the Foundation’s support programmes for tertiary students.

“Investing in the education of our youth is investing in the future of Salaga-South. We remain committed to creating opportunities that enable our students to achieve their academic aspirations and contribute meaningfully to national development,” she stated.

The Foundation further reiterated its dedication to expanding educational assistance in future academic years as part of its broader mission to promote human capital development, educational empowerment, and socio-economic progress within the constituency.

The Acting Administrator of the HB Braimah Education Foundation LBG, Ing. Alhaji Abdul Nasser Adam, noted that the Foundation will continue to serve as a beacon of hope for students across the constituency through sustained educational support.

According to him, the Foundation remains committed to nurturing the next generation of professionals, innovators, and leaders through strategic investments in education, ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent talented students from realizing their academic and career aspirations.
