Soludo renames COOU Uli campus after ex-governor

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has renamed the Uli campus of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) after former Anambra State governor, Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju,

The announcement was made during the university’s 2024/2025 convocation ceremony held at its Igbariam campus. The Uli campus will now be known as the Chinwoke Mbadinuju Campus, in recognition of his role as the founding figure and first visitor of the university.

Dr. Mbadinuju, who served as governor from 1999 to 2003, established the institution during his administration as part of efforts to expand access to higher education in the state.
