Speaking during a commemorative event, Mensah, who also serves as the National Coordinator of Recreation and Wellness, praised the former executives for what she described as their dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to the growth and stability of the party over the years.
She said the women had played a significant role in strengthening the NDC at various levels through years of loyalty, hard work, and grassroots mobilisation. According to her, their contributions have remained vital to the party’s development and electoral successes.
Mensah also highlighted the broader role of women in politics and national development, noting that mothers and female leaders deserved greater recognition for their impact on society. She encouraged the former executives to continue supporting the ideals of the NDC and to inspire younger women to participate actively in leadership and political engagement.
