Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah pays tribute to mothers on Mother’s Day

Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah has paid tribute to mothers and caregivers, praising their resilience, sacrifices and contributions to family and national development as part of activities marking Mother’s Day.

In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, the lawmaker representing Salaga-South Constituency described mothers as the foundation of every thriving home and society, commending their commitment to nurturing families and supporting communities.

She extended special recognition to mothers, guardians and caregivers within the constituency, acknowledging what she described as their daily sacrifices carried out with “grace, patience and unconditional love”.

“As your daughter, sister, and representative, I proudly celebrate and honour every mother for the invaluable care, wisdom, and guidance you selflessly give,” she said.

Hajia Ibrahimah also expressed appreciation for the role women play in shaping future generations and strengthening social values through caregiving and mentorship.

She prayed for continued strength, protection and blessings for mothers, asking Allah to reward them for their devotion and sacrifices.

Mother’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world to recognise the role of mothers and maternal figures in society.
