GRA Engages Stakeholders on Annual Tax Returns Compliance

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has engaged stakeholders in Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region to sensitise businesses and individuals on the importance of filing annual tax returns in line with national regulations.

The engagement, led by the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Office of the GRA, focused on the requirement for all registered companies, partnerships, and business names in Ghana to submit annual returns to the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) in order to remain in good standing.

Speaking during the outreach, the Municipal Office Manager of the GRA, Samuel Owusu Benin, explained that the exercise is aimed at improving compliance and ensuring that taxpayers understand their obligations under the law. He noted that proper filing of returns is essential for effective revenue administration and national planning.

He further urged individuals and corporate bodies to consistently meet their tax obligations, stressing that tax revenue remains a key driver of national development and public service delivery.
