HB Braimah Education Foundation Supports Students in Salaga South

The HB Braimah Education Foundation LBG, established by the Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, has disbursed GHS68,726.97 to support students in the constituency with the payment of academic user fees.

The intervention, according to the Foundation, is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and enabling them to continue their education in tertiary and professional training institutions without interruption.

Beneficiaries of the support scheme are drawn from the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Coast, Savannah College of Education, Kpembe Nursing and Midwifery Training College and Nkanchina Community Nursing Training College.

Speaking on the initiative, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah said education remains a critical instrument for social and economic transformation.

“Education is the most powerful tool we have to break the cycle of poverty and build a stronger Salaga South,” she stated.

She added: “Through the HB Braimah Education Foundation, we remain committed to ensuring that no brilliant student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. This is an investment in the future of our constituency.”

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to broadening its educational support programmes in subsequent academic sessions as part of efforts to strengthen human capital development in Salaga South.
